Vineyards are complex ecosystems in which life blossoms, falls asleep, wakes up, runs, digs and flies in many different forms, every day: vines and other plants live together with microorganisms, insects, animals.
With our work we safeguard their balance, never ceasing to be amazed by the miracle that nature keeps on giving.
Our vineyards are framed by meadows, hedgerows, woods and even a natural park: they are the ancient guardians of a wealth of wild species in the Monferrato and Langa.
The birds that live in the Braida vineyards include elegant bee-eaters, swallows and various species of sparrows: they were here before us and they help keep the population of insects under control and remove organisms that are harmful to the vines. Their chirping and the noise made by their wings are familiar and reassuring sounds that keep us company in the vineyards.
