Guests of the Braida Wine Resort, in Rocchetta Tanaro, shouldn’t miss the opportunity to take part in the educational grape harvest* in the Braida vineyards at the end of September.
An authentic experience in the vineyard with Braida’s grape pickers: one of the most enjoyable moments you can spend in Piedmont, learning about material culture and long-standing traditions first-hand.
The educational grape harvest takes place in the morning and lasts about two hours. After a brief training session offering essential information on the vines, weather conditions and the principles of harvesting, participants are given some pruning scissors and a box and the grape harvest begins, with the assistance of the winegrowers.
The harvesting experience is followed by a tasting of Braida wines, accompanied by a platter of cured meats and cheeses.
The price is 200 euros per person (discounted from 400 euros to 380 for two).
Availability is subject to the winery’s harvesting plans and times are flexible. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Vineyard tutoring is also available in English.
