Braida is Barbera and traditional red wines. Giacomo Bologna always said: “What color is flowing in your veins? If it is red, then it is Barbera”.
But what happens when a Barbera family comes across an ancient white grape variety, indigenous to the Langa, an almost extinct variety but with a great potential like Nascetta?
It is love at first sight.
Among the Braida wines, the Nascetta wears the crown immediately for its purity, and so, “La Regina” is born. It is a wine with unmistakable citrus and exotic fruit notes, that does not fear the passing of time, on the contrary it knows how to court it with innate class, obtaining good extraordinary mineral qualities.
Thirty years ago, in 1990, Braida planted the first cuttings of Nascetta in Trezzo Tinella, in the Serra dei Fiori Estate.
Today we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Doc, obtained in 2010.
