From Monferrato the most versatile expression of Barbera.
In tasting our wines of the origines, produced since 1961: La Monella, Barbera del Monferrato DOC frizzante 2022; Curej, Barbera d’Asti DOC 2021, the latest born among the Braida wines, from the spectacular vineyards around the Braida Wine Resort in Rocchetta Tanaro, a new hospitality proposal by Braida. Curej is a faithful interpreter of a terroir that we love and is a wine designed and produced for Restaurants only. The precious reserves of the Bologna family: Montebruna, Barbera d’Asti DOCG 2020, the legendary Bricco dell’Uccellone, Barbera d’Asti DOCG 2019, the Bricco della Bigotta, Barbera d’Asti DOCG 2019 (on the market from September 2023) and Ai Suma, Barbera d’Asti DOCG 2020 from late harvest (on the market from September 2023). Even the Grappa Invecchiata di Bricco dell’Uccellone, for us traditional Barberists, has a vintage on the label: 2018.
The great love for Barbera led us in 1994 to “marry” for the first time the fruit of this vine with the international vines Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. Monferrato Rosso DOC, which we offer at ProWein in the 2019 vintage.
Since its origins, in the 1960s, our winery has believed in the autochthonous Grignolino, Limonte, and in the aromatics of Piemonte, Moscato d’Asti – Vigna Senza Nome – and Brachetto d’Acqui, all available for tasting with the 2022 harvest.
In the high lands of the Cuneo Langa, in Trezzo Tinella, for more than thirty years we have been producing wines from the vineyards of Serra dei Fiori: you can taste Il Fiore, Langhe Bianco DOC (Nascetta and Chardonnay), Re di Fiori (Langhe DOC Riesling), The Regina (Langhe DOC Nascetta) all in the 2022 vintage and the Langhe DOC Chardonnay Asso di Fiori vintage 2021.
